Finding templates in such for coding IRC clients in C...

Can someone please help me with a website that has a tutorial for coding an irc client in C and C only not C++... and or templates or something of that sort.. any usefull links should help, don't be afraid to paste one :)

I would think that the fastest way to get what you are looking for is to get the source code for one of the many IRC clients from the source directories on any of the mirrors.

i don't want source code for ksirc (which is done in perl not c) or Xchat, or KVIRC.. i wanted a site that shows you an intro to making them etc. or maybe templates i don't want to have to take apart a whole coded client which could be gigantic, just to get the base code for connection to irc etc.

do you need it for the trojans you are making, so they can connect to a central place from which you can specify your targets for a DDOS :wink:

 

Or maybe your just interested in irc?
