ShadowFoxLSU
Strange eh? My sound works perfectly with every other application in MDK 10 , except for Enemy Territory. Any ideas?
TVH
don't worry, you are not the only one with this problem. I just installed MDK 10.0 andd I get no sound in ET either.

Space_Balls
I found a solution to this, even though I still have the delayed sound problem I'm running 10.0 CE using KDE. Sound Card is a Audigy 1 In the KDE desktop configuration menu, under Sound/Sound System, make sure you have the Sound server enabled (enable Sound System checked) Apply settings, and now start et like this: In Console type: artsdsp -m et this will start et, and worked for me to get sound. I now have delayed sound, which some people were able to fix by turning off/on the Full Duplex function in the Sound System manager of KDE
