hea
Does anyone know where size of fonts in apps. like firefox, thunerbird, openoffice, anjuta ... just to mention a few. When I say fonts I mean fonts in toolbars, bookmarks etc, not webpages or documents. This is gtk2 apps and they are fine when I use gnome, but not under fluxbox. KDE apps have normal fonts i.e. the fonts I specify in kde control centre.
neutro
I don't know for OpenOffice et all, but in mozilla products, you can adjust the menu's font size by adding a few lines in userChrome.css. However the default font size is 11 pt, and using say a larger font size may cause overlapping text or orther problems. See this page for details. hea
Thanks! Fonts look great in Firefox now. Guess I'll have to do similar to the other apps. In Openoffice its possible to scale the fonts in the config dialog, but thats not the ideal solution I think.
william
In order to get gtk2 applications looking ok when using fluxbox, put this line in your .xinitrc file: exec gnome-settings-daemon On the other hand, when using flux you can change gtk on the fly with this GTK theme switcher (1 and 2) that you can find Here. Good Luck. william
aze
I am using firefox 0.8 I downloaded this xft mozilla version. but I want to still using standalone version of firefox, not mozilla. So, how do I improve the fonts? BTW, do mozilla have a mail client standalone version?
