prisoner1572
I'm installing Linux on my medion laptop. It won't recognize my display. When I try to load linux, Xfree stops and says it can't load and says to try different settings. Any other settings won't work. It is an NVidia and I downloaded the Linux driver, but then how do I get it from my Windows drive to the Linux drive?
liquidzoo
The nvidia driver that is on your windows hd can be installed where it is. Simply su to root at your command line and type sh /path/to/NVIDIA... Most likely, your windows drive is at /mnt/win_c If it's giving you the error that says "no screens found" then installing those drivers will definitely fix your issue.
