RanchNachos
I just tried to install the 2.6.2 Kernel, following an install guide in a thread in the Tips and Tricks section.. using URPMI. Everything started out great, all the dependencies downloaded, and then asked whether I wanted to continue (of course i do - so i pressed Y). Then it just dropped out and gave the following error. Installation failed, some files are missing: /var/cache/urpmi/rpms/libsasl2-2.1.15-6mdk.i586.rpm You may want to update your urpmi database echo -ne "\033]0;${USER}@${HOSTNAME}: ${PWD}\007" So I guess my question(s) is, How/Where would I go about getting the RPM that failed? and ... How do I update my URPMI Database? Thanks in advance. :)
liquidzoo
First thing, run urpmi --clean as root to clean out any failed downloads. Then run urpmi.update -a to update all of your databases, then you can try upgrading the kernel again. It should work.

Lord Kenneth
try: rpm --rebuilddb If that doesn't work, go get a new mirror. I think that French one linked to in a topic elsewhere is missing files. I recommend the one in USA in Texas... wait, no I don't! No, don't touch that one, I'm updating a bunch of stuff! DON'T TOUCH IT!
kde-head
try a different mirror - that usually works. have a look at the mirror contents in your browser first. easy urpmi (do a google) is a great way to update your uprmi without typing in a lot of stuff. just cut and paste.
