Cannonfodder
I haven't done it, but the answer is yes. The interface is web based so that means that you should be able to access it from anywhere. If it doesn't work, then you proabaly have a firewall issue. The interface rquires a password too for security.

Cannonfodder
You might just have to configure the firewall to allow it.. you can check out anonymous servers to test your firewall. You hae to go through their proxy so its like you are calling from work...
Guest anon
Welcome to the board. On your computer at work, or elsewhere,Start webmin, and click on webmin servers. Click on register a new server, Enter the IP or host address of your remote computer. In the port number, put 10000 Choose the SSL option. Pick the OS you connecting to from the drop down list (redhat, mandrake etc) For link type, choose: Login via Webmin with username ,enter your name (usually root) and the password. Save, and then connect. thats it. EDIT As cannonfodder said, if you have a firewall running, you must allow connections through port 10000
jleaman
when i tried to add the port in the webpadmin page under firewall is said that port 10000 was not a valid port...
Cannonfodder
Does webmin have a feature for remote access? Meaning you have to setup the remote access with a password so on? It might be preventing you from using 10000 as a security measure unless you specifically state you want webmin to be used that way... I'm guessing ..
