[KDE] How to create a shortcut

Just drag it from the menu to the desktop then let go. It will probably ask you what you want to do with it (copy here, link here, ...). Choose 'link here'.

Alternatively, you can right-click on the desktop background, then pick 'create new -> shortcut to application'. In the tab where you have to fill in the application/command, type "/usr/bin/mozilla" (without the quotes). Then press the icon on the left of the dialog box and choose a (mozilla) icon.

As Liquidzoo mentioned, don't forget to pick a name for it. Might as well be 'browser' as 'Mozilla', don't matter as long as the command you're using is right.

Don't know if you're new to Linux, but if you are, you could look around for some tutorials. I actually wrote one myself, so I'm going to do some shameless advertising for it here:

P.S. Liquidzoo, tx again for the hosting. Any idea yet if it gets some views?
