iNFERiON
What games do you have running succesfully using WineX ? It might be nice to create a list here of games that have been tested by Mandrake Users :) Games that work here under WineX 3.2 and Mandrake 9.2: Blade Runner, Westwood © 1997 Dune 2000, Westwood © 1999

Steve Scrimpshire
MDK 9.2 XFree86-4.3-24.1.92mdk kernel-2.4.22-10mdk-i686-up-4GB winex3-3.2.1-1 Diablo II - Works great for me on my AMD 2500+ / 512 PC2700 / BFG GeForce4 MX440-SE with NVidia driver (not the latest, but 4496). Works just like it does in Windows. Total Annihilation - Had some problem on installing. The buttons had no text, but it installed fine. I only tested playing it for a few seconds, but there didn't appear to be any sound (or maybe the default sound settings were way low, I'll have to check). SoulSe
Ok, here are mine (so far): Warcraft III: Works perfectly, I have some issues with graphics on my Lappy's Radeon Mobility, but these cards do give mapping problems in Linux. On my desktop at home, it runs perfectly. Network games also work well. Diablo II: Also works well, although not quite as well as Warcraft, I get serious speed and texture problems with the game, I can only run it in 2D as 3D mode gives problems (this setting is changed under the vidtest section of the auto-run app. on the Diablo CD). I also like to run this game in a window on my desktop as I have issues with 800x600 full screen on my laptop. Counterstrike: Runs surprisingly well, I coped the directory over a network (didn't even install it properly) and WineX'ed the .exe and it played. Network games are fine, only problem is that I can only create one game per session, so I need to close the game and restart it to create a new game after the first. These games have worked fine in Gentoo and Mandrake, both running WineX 3.2.1 I wish I could run Dungeon Keeper II as this is one game I would like to play again... alas, it installs fine but can't play

liquidzoo
Here are the ones I have tried: Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast: Currently installed. Works perfectly. Install can be a bit tricky, though. I had to backup my ~/.transgaming folder and rename it in order for it to work. Diablo II: Again, as mentioned by others, works perfectly. Currently installed on my laptop. Half-Life: As well as it's update with tfc, dmc, etc. Seems to work great. I haven't played it much, but I know HL works for sure. Others I have tried in the past: High Rollerz: Casino game. Installs fine but won't play. If someone knows a good casino game (native or one that you know works with winex) that includes Texas Hold 'Em (Poker game) please let me know. Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: I installed this a long time ago. I remember the menu screen not working very well, but the game played very nicely The Sims: Absolutely will not install with any of the cvs or binary versions of winex I have tried. Have to purchase it separately, and the expansion packs won't work. The one game I really wish I could get working. Soldier of Fortune: There was supposed to be a port of this game before Loki went under. It never got farther than the demo stage, though. This game seems to work, it's been a while since I've installed it.

You must be thinking of Deus Ex, which did not have a demo release. Soldier of Fortune @ TuxGames And on another note, I don't have any issues running The Sims on my Xbox...
