Guest John Melchiorre
I have download Mandriva 2010 on my Dell Inspiron 1521. I have it as a dual boot , with Windows Vista & mandriva 2010. I have had it hooked up on a hard wire to get my updates. I have put the BCMWL5.sys & the inf files in mandriva & my wireless driver still isnt working. My wireless driver is Dell wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card. I've done all I can do & I've researched this for a few days please help. coolicezero
speedball2
I have put the BCMWL5.sys I'm guessing BCMWL is Broadcom wireless so I'd try the broadcom-wl or dkms-broadcom-wl driver which you'll find in the official non-free media. Kieth
At the top of this web page, you'll see "Easy URPMI". Click on that, and it will take you to another web page where you can choose the official non-free media.

Where did you put those files, another way to make youre w-lan work with the inf-files is Ndiswrapper MCC/internet choose w-lan and then Ndiswrapper, follow the steps.
