Mr Happy Posted December 11, 2003 Share Posted December 11, 2003 I recently changed from xawtv to tvtime and now the sound from the TV continues after I have shut off the viewer. Tried uninstalling, re-installing, different viewers, differnt driver (CS46xx. Works great for everything else) etc. I figure it must be something simple, but I am very new to Linux (Mandrake 9.2) and am stumped. Audio is connected directly to line-in of TB Santa Cruz card. Mr Happy Posted December 14, 2003 Author Share Posted December 14, 2003 No, I haven't. I have tried KWinTV, so at least I can mute the volume when I minimize the program. But when I close it, the sound is there. Strange. It will continue until the sound driver has been shut down, so I wonder if it has something to do with it or the tuner card/hookup/driver.
