Guest mju
Hiya. I have a problem when trying to install Mandriva 2010 Free from dvd .iso I've downloaded. It starts normally, asks which HDD I want to format, proceeds with creating new partitions on it. But when I press "Install" it says "Unable to access medium "main media" and like 4 other similar errors, then goes back to HDD choosing page. My system is p5p800 + p4 3.0 hgz + 3 gb RAM + 3*250 gb HDDs + 80 gb HDD (Win XP). Already tried to put off lan cable and all HDDs except the one i'm installing to. Still getting same errors again and again. Dunno what to do. I also checked md5sum of the .iso I've burned - it's ok.
ianw1974
Could be a bad burn or crappy CD/DVD media. What speed did you burn at? Maybe burn at a slower speed to make sure the DVD is OK.
