Hi,

I installed the high performance liquid theme for KDE 2.2 (MDK 8.2). I used the kdemoreartwork-liquid rpm, version 0.7-2plf, from the PLF site.

Unfortunately, version 0.7 has a couple of bugs. Most notably, I can't configure korn and konqueror backgrounds. These bugs are documented in the readme file, so I presume they must have been fixed by now.

Does anybody know, are there any newer rpms or tarballs available for KDE 2.2.2? (I did come across this theme for KDE 3.0, will it will work for KDE 2?)

I didn't say "an email client", I said "an application". Just two examples:

1. I used to have the entry MAILTO=root in the crontab file, so cron could email root about the status of tasks it performed.

2. lpd sometimes emails root, eg, about dequeued jobs.

"... all you need is a client, like Kmail or Evolution for graphical or mutt/pine/elm for console..."

How do you setup mutt to use SMTP and POP servers? Also, I found that

some applications can't send messages to root if postfix/sendmail is disabled.
