Try searching for GYACH/GYACH-E. I used it before and it supports webcams.

In K3B, there is an option, 'Continue Multisession', in one of the tabs when you press burn (I think). I tried it once, but I also got an error (forgot the exact error message), and a dialog box displayed if I want to 'force' it. Since the cd wasn't mine, I didn't try it.

I had this problem before when I clicked on the sync icon on the toolbar just before syncing my palm. When I do that it somehow does a full backup overridding my default (fastsync). So now I just run kpilot then press sync on my palm.
Don't know why it happens but its something you can try.

KPilot has several different sync options (fast, full, etc..), I think the default is full. You can change the default sync in the preference.

Hello,
I am trying to connect to Yahoo Chat using GYAch 1.0.7 but I keep getting Login Failed or Invalid Password. I'm not really sure what server:port to use.
If anybody has successfully logged in, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could tell me what server:port you used.
Thanks,
Ewan

Did some googling and found this.
Don't really know what it does but maybe you can try it out.

I have the exact same problem. I have an External Serial Modem and a internal WinModem connected in the same machine. Whenever I run Kppp from the terminal I am also getting 'Terminating on Signal 15' and from the terminal 'Interface PPP0 not found'. I was going to try to remove the internal modem but then my harddisk crashed.

Hello,
I'm able to sync my palm using JPilot 0.99.7 but I cannot seem to get the Expense plugin to work. I have the plugin libraries installed but the plugin menu do not appear in JPilot. Is there something I need to do to be able to use the plugins? I installed JPilot from the Mandrake 10.1 installation CD. Or is there a better program to sync with palm.
Thanks
Ewan

Moto4Lin [solved]
in Laptops and Portable Devices
Posted
Hello
I'm trying to connect my Motorola mobile phone to my PC. I found a program called Moto4Lin that does this but I can't install it. Below is the text from the INSTALL file:
To compile you need:
* QT Library 3.3.3 (c++ headers and binary lib)
* libusb-devel 0.8 (headers and binary lib)
* g++
Installing
========
1. qmake
make
2. Now you can run application.
I'm a newbie and not too knowledgable with Linux. I am not sure how to go about the instructions above. When I type 'qmake' I get command not found.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using Mandrake 10.1
Thanks
Ewan
