Acutally im rebuilding them because i finished the first version of them last week. But my laptop with the latest rpms on it got stolen. So have to start from scratch again. This means that i no longer has any 9.0 installation so that one will no longer be supported. But i will upload the rpms for 9.1 tomorrow. /thac

actually i have been running a ati rage pro card in mandrake since mdk 7.2 by using the dri.sourceforge.net driver get if from here http://dri.sourceforge.net/snapshots/ it works perfectly. /thac

this is the mandrake way of installing rpms. actually you should go here http://plf.zarb.org/~nanardon/urpmiweb.php and add what you need. /thac

you must type this in the same catalog where you actually have the rpm. /thac

then install the kavi2svcd rpm with urpmi kav2svcd-......rpm and it should download and install the needed rpms for you. /thac

get the needed rpms from plf and from mandrake9.0 contrib. i vill upload them to my site later. /thac

I have been looking for something like this. So i have made a rpm for kavi2svcd-0.54 for Mandrake 9.0. Its available for download at http://rpm.nyvalls.se/kde9.0.html together with the other needed rpms. /thac

ive made a new version available today ardour-gtk 0.612.3 libardour 0.317.2 ardour-ksi 0.1.5 the new stuff is taht i moved the ardour pixmaps to its own rpm. ardour-pixmaps 2.5.0 and added the new custom pixmap ardour-pixmaps-custom 1.0 so that you can choose which to use. /thac

You can use a real one through the midi port in real time. Use saved midi tracks made from a real instrument Use some kind of soft midi instrument like my vkeyb kmid + timidity or something else.

to start jack jackd -d alsa -d hw:0 Then start ardour i can confirm the bug that i logs out if you try yto start without a running jack demon. Read about running ardour at ardours homepage. and about jack at jacks homepage it could be advisable to go to alsas homepage an read about how to configure your souncard properly. /thac
