  1. New xorg-x11 with new openchrome both from cvs20051203 added.
  2. yes i have removed-7 version it had an issue vith unichrome the differenece is updated mesa from cvs mesa_6.4 branch the wull be merged ifficially in xorg very soon, i guess i will have to wait for that the things that is installed with xorg is xorg + new mesa then you should also install latest dkms-drm that is the updated kernel drivers for new mesa Another thing make sure that you have the mesa installed that i created by the -6 xorg version = -6 mesa
  3. new xorgmes and dkms-drm rpms added openchrome updated merged in todays mesa_6.4 branch code (it will be merged in officially in xorg anyawy very soon) updated dkms-drm to todays cvs checkout
  4. wine-0.9.2 + latest DirectX for Wine patch see https://sourceforge.net/projects/directxwine/ available in my repo at http://www.mde.djura.org/index2006.0.html
  5. new xorg with updated unichrome added There is actuallay 3 different version of unichrome implementations at the moment. 1. the one in xorg, currently not working 2, the one in http://sourceforge.net/projects/unichrome/ that is missing support for via xvmc harware acceleration 3, http://www.openchrome.org/ that supports both 3d and xvmc hardware support I have built current xorg-x11-6.9-cvs20051127 rpms for mandriva 2006 with the openchrome version added. I have also built the Mesa-6.4.1 that is included in xorg sourca and alse a dlms-drm built from the drm source included in xorg source. This will provide the version of Mesa and drm that xorg is actually built against. I have never understood why mandriva only provides an old version of Mesa = 5. since both mesa and drm development moved to be part of xorg cvs years ago. is it only natural to let xorg spec build both mesa and drm , like all other distros except mandriva does. my xorg also has radeon tv_output fix, sis 180905 driver from http://www.winischhofer.at/linuxsisvga.shtml and mgadriver 4.2.0 it does also contain fix for greek kb. there is also an rpm for the The SiS Display Control Panel (sisctrl) for the sis driver. The rpms is available in my repo at http://www.mde.djura.org/index2006.0.html

  10. new rpms added among other things new kdenetwork built with kopete-0.12 and added sametime support.
  11. New rpms coming kde-3.5 is in freeze so the svn source is now kde-3.5 final New kdenetwork-3.5.0 uploaded with kopete-0.12 it should add some more features and from now on all new features will only be added to kopete-0.12 the offical kopete in kdenetwork-3.5.0 will only have bugfixes.
  12. Im doing some more dependency cleanup there is a few rpms that still require main names that must be replaced with .common since one of the last changes was to add main name wrappers (that will pull in all meta packages) to all kde parts and move main rpm to -common probably done tomorrow PS and about kopete i will try to add the new kopete-0.12 branch even more new features
  13. new kdepim kdetoys added also missing kdeedu building missing kdevelop now Update kde will release kde-3.5 rc1 today i have already checked out the sources so we will start moving from 0.pre to 0.rc1 today.
  14. it seems that zé was in a hurry adding all, he forgot to upload some of the rpms. He is away for a few days. i have to rebuild them to add them im working on it right now.
  15. yes it should start arts without realtime even if that is set
  16. Anyway my report after the latest updates: arts works again (though not with realtime priority). this requires that you use multimedia kernel that has module to allow this for normal users or that we make artsd running suid root = very bad idea
  17. about arts noatun works now and about artsdsp opera the /usr/bin/opera is not an binary it is a wrapperscript so this error is actually correct artsdsp works if you point it to the real opera location artsdsp /usr/lib/opera/8.50-20050916.5/opera
  18. new arts, kdelibs and kdebase available that should fix most of the arts bugs.
  19. about the timeouts in download, i would very much recomend using the anorien mirror it has alot better bandwidth. about the kdm problem if you folllow the install instructions on http://www.mde.djura.org/kde2006.0.html it should be ok the trick is the same as with last kde upgrade or you can do as mandriva officially says is best uninstall kde and then install, but it is not needed easier and faster to do as in weppage. and about the arts bug there is a serious bug in 2006 gcc making kde built with this gcc have trouble. see here http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=111115 i have taled to the kde devlopers about this and got a workaround that should solve the arts problems i have only tested with noatun yet and that is fixed. the new rpms is available now. remeber the anorien mirror is synced each 15min so it is a little delay for changes.
  20. finally found out what is causing the noatun bug and probably some more related to arts it as so many times before a gcc bug anyway zé is building a new kdebase with the workaround added I will announce when available
  21. I have built missing akode-2.0b3 and a new kdemultimedia built with akodes and oggvorbis support. Please test theese two if it solves any of the multimedia arts bugs.
