  3. Hi, I,ve installed freenx and nxclient (with dep. packages) on a Mdk 10.1 and also on LE2005. When I try start 'nxclient' to get access to another PC, I get only a small empty X-window with an 'OK-button' no other messages (see attachment). I have the same problem on 10.1 and LE2005. Anybody knows this problem? Which log-file stores the messages from the nxclient? What is the way to find out what the problem is? Henner NoMachine NX

  6. my current settings are: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse1" Driver "mouse" Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2" Option "Device" "/dev/mouse" Option "ZAxisMapping" "6 7" EndSection I've tried Option "Protocol" "PS/2" like i've seen in Knoppix but it gives the same result and kills my wheel. also: Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2" and Option "Protocol" "auto" gives no better results. Are you sure that i can fix it with changes in the protocol? Henner

  8. Hi, I use a KVM-Switch to connect 2 PCs at one Keyboard, Mouse &Monitor. I know that there are technical problems with KVM-Switches but my switch works with Knoppix, debian, Gentoo, WinXP and also with mdk 10.1. Know i've updated to Mandriva 2005. After the first time when i switch beween the systems i loose my mouse support in Mandriva. The mousecoursor stand still but the Keyboard and Monitor works. Is there a possibility to reanymate my mouse without make a reboot or restart the X-server? What is the reason than other distributions can work witch the switch but Mandriva can't? Is there a kernel patch or a trick to solve my problem? Thanks for help Henner
