  1. Dear all, I have successfully installed apt-rpm and synaptic (both mdk rpms from rpmfind) on mandrake 10. I have one rpm repository but it only has files on the install disc/discs. Does anyone know where I can find apt-rpm repositories for Mandrake 10 ? I love the simplicity of apt and synaptic in comparision to long hours and rpmfind and kpackage. If you know of any please let me know ? Appleman1234 :D PS: I am perfectly happy with apt-rpm and synaptic and don't want to use urmpi.
  2. Dear all, How did you do this I have StarCraft Broodwar and MDK10 with wine and I am having little success. I also have the StarCraft original Cd and have had little success. 7. Dear all, Thanks for the help, I have tried placing ifconfig eth0 down in /etc/rc.d/rc.local but then when I try to dial up, its says unable to find modem. So I am stuck lol, tyvm to all of you anyways. I will try your suggestions. Thank you very much Appleman1234 :)
  8. Dear all, On my laptop I am running MDK9.2 and to access the net I have disable my ethernet connection b4 i can use my modem connection. My modem is properly configured with the smart link drivers. I know that I have tried editing the icfg-eth0 script to say on boot= no but because mandrake like redhat hotplugs and enables eth0 on boot regardless, I would like to know of a boot script that will disable eth0 while i am booting up or logging in using the command "ifconfig eth0 down". Please help if you can. Appleman1234 :)
