  1. The NVIDIA one, from nvidia.com
  2. Everything freezes. Mouse won't move, keyboard won't work. Must do a hard reset. Hardware: Athlon XP 2500+ (oc'ed to 3000+) Nvidia GeForce4 Ti4200 A7N8X Deluxe (it's an nForce2 Chipset, btw) 512 MB DDR RAM Any ideas on how I can pinpoint the culprit, whether it's software or hardware? Perhaps I need to change some settings?
  3. Yeah, I screwed around with the hard drives and now I got it working. Windows is a pain in the butt, but I need it to play games. Now I just got to get wireless working properly...
  4. I have two HDDs, one is 30 GB (Linux) and the other is 120 GB (windows). If linux is on the first HDD, the master, I cannot boot into Windows no matter how hard I try w/ LILO. If I set the first boot device in BIOS to hd1 instead of hd0 system just stops after post. If I try to access windows through LILO, almost same thing happens, I get a damn small blinking line on the screen. HDD light on computer does not turn red, so it's not accessing data. This is driving me crazy! Why won't windows boot up as slave /w Linxux on master? And yes, I need WinXP to play games.
  5. Oh yeah, and when I check it after booting up to see what iwconfig says, it tells me it is not in managed and essid is not default, why is that?
  6. I can get wlan0 (my wireless USB dwl-120) to work if I go into terminal and type in iwconfig wlan0 mode managed iwconfig wlan0 essid default Here's what my icfg-wlan0 file looks like: DEVICE=wlan0 BOOTPROTO=dhcp ONBOOT=yes MII_NOT_SUPPORTED=yes NEEDHOSTNAME=yes WIRELESS_MODE=managed WIRELESS_ESSID=default Also, how do I get it so it doesn't take so long to try to detect eth0 or wlan0 on bootup? If it can't find a connection it waits forever... :(
