  1. It is. Something is just wrong with it. When I disabled graphical bootup it worked fine.
  2. Uh-oh, it's not working. For example, when I try it normally in console: [root@localhost kenny]# sudo -u mldonkey /var/lib/mldonkey/Desktop/mldonkey-2-5-12/mlnet Fatal error: exception Unix.Unix_error(1, "mkdir", "/root/.mldonkey")
  3. I agree. I refuse to pay a monthly fee for any game. It's too much money and you get screwed if you get bored with it. Not to mention the game itself costs $$$!
  4. Check your XFree config file. Perhaps you have, uh, multiple mouse drivers loaded or something that's slowing your mouse down?
  5. It's available in cooker now. I compiled it for my K7 system and it's apparently running fine.
  6. I upgraded something in cooker and now it's bugged-- won't load if I try graphical boot. It did before. Huh.
  7. With the way mldonkey works, it prevents all other scripts from initializing after it because that's how it stays on. If I do that the splash stays on the screen.
  8. How can I have it so mldonkey starts up on bootup without putting it in the rc.local file? If I do that, then scripts after rc.local can't initialize and I'm basically screwed out of the operating system if X can't load for whatever reason.
  9. And hot damn, it works. Which country do you want when I take over?
  10. Thank you. When my reign of glorious terror comes along you shall sit at the right hand of my throne.
  11. Uh, it's the latest arts plugin on the urpmi server And yes, I'm running gnome.
  12. I looked there. I don't see any mention of the mousewheel. And yes, it's for all apps.
  13. I looked myself because I wanted the source-- it's apparently not available yet. That sucks.
  14. I'm very sure the answer is no.
  15. It scrolls so much when I use it it's practically useless. Instead of scrolling in small increments it scrolls by segments of the page, skipping over some text. This is annoying as hell. Any way to set the mouse wheel sensitivity?
  16. I got the EXACT same error, so I'm in the same boat as you.
  17. When I use arts plugin w/ xmms I get a segfault.
  18. I noticed I can only hear, say, an mp3 but cannot hear anything else. This is annoying... I've installed Esound and such, but no go. I'm using an A7N8X-Deluxe board, nforce2 chipset... any ideas?
  19. After a crash on bootup I went to check the syslog file.
  20. Huh. Well, I somehow got it fixed. Anyone tell me what I could've done wrong? Maybe did steps wrong in the compiling process?
  21. That may not be the problem, however. I did change my processor type to the proper K7 (Athlon/Duron) instead of the mandrake kernel's default, so...
  22. Interesting, and my kernel is 2.6.2-3mdkcustom, not just 2.6.2-3mdk. Hmmm, let me try a workaround.
