I have contacted the manufacturer and the only option they offered was a company called XIG that appears to offer a driver package for $299US. While this might turn out to be the best solution, since we are not interested in becoming programmers. Any other thoughts would be appreciated

We are looking at switching to Mandrake Linux. Is it possible to use/reconfigure Redhat drivers that exist for this card so that it will work in Mandrake? The manufacturer has these drivers at their website: http://www.3dlabs.com/support/drivers/linu...nux_drivers.htm Unfortunately if we are not able to use this card with Mandrake we cannot make the switch and FINALLY close Windows!
