no...im pretty sure the software is gone...I restarted and tried to get into Mandrake Control Center and it said that the MCC couldn't be found. The Konsole is gone too...I would do the update...but i dont have a network card for the computer I'm running MDK on

Ok...I got a fresh install of Mandrake 9.2 and When I installed KDE Games and XMME almost all of the other software that was installed by default was gone...as a matter of fact. The KDE games didnt even show up in my applications bar. I've had this happen to me before and i just reinstalled to fix the problem...is there an easier way to fix it???

I installed mandrake 9.2 on my laptop. but when i restarted, mandrake didn't load. It just gave me a L and a bung of 99 and it hung up after that. I deleted all of the partions under DOS and used the fdisk /mbr to get rid of LILO. But does anybody know what causes the L and 99?

ok...I just tried that. But I get this message: Kernal Panic: VFS: Unable to mount fs at 01:03 (it might be 30...I cant remember)

I've been trying to install Mandrake 9.2 on this old Proliant 1500 I got a while back. But when ever I try and install, I keep getting this error that says a RAMdisk can't be created because there is not enough ram (It says that I only have 16...which is a lie because I have 196 megs). I thought that it might be bad ram...but I tested it and it seems to be fine.

Ok...I've downloaded the mandrake 9.2 ISOs. I burned them on to some CD-Rs and I was on my way. I got to the first screen and pressed enter...it did somethings and after a while it when to a black screen with 'in second phase of install' or something like that...and it just stayed there for a really long time. Then it gave me this Signal 7 error and told me that its safe to restart my computer...can somebody please help me???
