  1. Chris and Sarah.....I do believe I already did that but I will definitely check again....Thank you.
  2. I'll try that, thanks...Oh...but how do I un-install Mozilla 1.6. Originally when I removed 1.4, I went to config/packaging/removesoftware. Now when I do search for Mozilla to remove it, nothing comes up.
  3. You are correct. I was just hoping that among all the problems it might have, that a simple java plug-in wouldn't be one of them . :( Yes, I did remove it first. I think a book I read told me it was unwise to try to run an updated program over an old one. Thus....it went bye-bye! Thanks for your help guys. I'm going to remove this version and go with a stable one. ......However, does that me I need to re-install the java software again as well?
  4. Ok, I've tried asking several people and other sites....I had Mozilla 1.4 pre-packaged on my MDK 9.2. I decided I wanted the latest and greatest, so I un-installed it and went for the 1.6b. For some reason I can't get the blasted thing to view JAVA while browsing. HELP!
  5. I hope it's more stable. I can't wait to get my copy. :) Amazon has it for $64.00, free shipping. Can't beat that! I'm going to start another post for my bitter JAVA experience!
  6. Hey, bvc....Does SUSE 9 Pro have problems that Gowator is having?
  7. The kernel-source that I downloaded for my enterprise was the same as for the standard. Right or wrong, it seems to have worked! Then again...I still can't get a javalet to run! :(
  8. Yes, thanks Counterspy! Is that all it's good for though....Is if you have a larger memory? Any benifits? Special this or that?

  10. Ummm...I still don't know if it is a good thing or not to use Enterprise version. Can you clarify this for me? I'm a wee bit thick headed sometimes.
  11. I think I found my problem. This is on Mozilla's site now when I went back to download an update to my 1.4 browser. Linux (x86) The original Linux builds were built with the wrong compiler and are incompatible with some plugins and extensions. The builds have been replaced as of 01:00 UTC on December 11. To distinguish the builds, look in about:buildconfig, in the "Build tools" section, next to the line starting with "c++". The old, incorrect build will say "gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-81)". The new, correct build will say "gcc version 3.2.3" (just as it does on the previous line). Full Installer (12 MB) Download all of the Mozilla components and then specify install options. Net Installer (80 KB) Download only the components you specify. tar.gz format (12 MB).
