  1. i thought i saw a thread concerning this, but i can't seem to find it. i downloaded phoenix web browser and put the "phoenix" directory in /usr/local, and just run /usr/local/phoenix/phoenix to start it up (there's no way to run a make install so that it goes into a specific directory-i had to copy it over.). however, i can't seem to change the theme...and idea why this might be? thanks for any help :)
  2. joehill: what size are the icons you used for bbbutton? for some reason i'm getting a gray border type thing around my icons...and i don't think it's from the dockapp, because i have the settings right in there.
  3. it also looks like one of the themes i saw for phoenix. tho for some reason i can't get themes working in phoenix :-/

  9. joe: did bbbuttons compile fine for you? i seem to be missing a header file: In file included from bbbutton.c:13: bbbutton.h:9:21: X11/xpm.h: No such file or directory bbbutton.c: In function `int main(int, char**)': bbbutton.c:106: `XpmCreatePixmapFromData' undeclared (first use this function) bbbutton.c:106: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in.) bbbutton.c:108: `XpmReadFileToData' undeclared (first use this function) make: *** [bbbutton] Error 1 odd :-/

    centericq

has anyone gotten centericq working in MDK9? and if so, did you have to do anything to get it to work? download some files or anything?
  13. only way i know of to do that is crossover plug-in.
  14. what i meant was there aren't things blinking everywhere and a lot of bright colors. "flashy" as in a flash bulb on a camera going off.
  15. so i'm thinking...20gig HD, mostly /home parition and then my swap partition, and split up the 40 for the others...i'm not well acquianted with the setup, so i'm not sure what to consider data vs. system. going to check out the link aru put up and see if that helps me any. thanks for all the info guys! hopefully by sunday evening my system will be windows free! (assuming I don't get all i-need-my-games like and decide to keep windows "just in case"....hehe)
  16. actually, although i was just browsing the forum, that was an interesting tidbit. one more bit of nearly useless information that i can store in the back of my mind to bring up again during an akward silence :) (i find the best way to break akward silence is to say something totally off the wall-you usually get a response, of some sort)

  22. YOU DIE!!! you die quick! i'm guessing wine is causing your issue, so it may not really be related to this issue other than in the end product....a stuck mouse :)
