  1. Nice to hear it worked for you. I have downloaded 10.0 but have finished using mdk, because I couldn't get my adsl running with it. No hints anywhere. I'm running Mepis Beta 5 now without a problem! Marcel
  2. Thanks guys for helping me out! I solved the problem by installing the latest 536ep tgz from linmodem.org instead of the latest version from intel (version 453 instead of 462 or something like that). This did the trick! I haven got a clue why this one works, but I'm glad to say it does! With kind regards, Marcel Gommans
  3. Hi there! Thanks for the fast reactions. I tried a few things: Ping 216.239.59.99 worked without problems. Ping www.google.com worked just as well. (So name-servers are ok?) rout -n gave the following output: Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 212.151.128.91 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 UH 0 0 0 ppp0 127.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo 0.0.0.0 212.151.128.91 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 ppp0 I haven't got a clue what to do now.   5. Hi there, Just installed 9.2. Looks great! Only my winmodem, with intel 536ep chip, doesn't work. I downloaded the latest drivers from the intel-website and installed fine. When I connect everything seems to work, but I can get no webpage to load. I succeeded once in getting www.google.com on my screen, but that's it. My ISP doesn't give IP-addresses of the DNS-servers, but everything works fine under XP (as you can see) and it worked perfect under SuSE 8.2, after installing the 536ep-RPM. I read somewhere the problem might have something to do with my unused ethernet card. It has installed, but I don't use it at the moment. Suggestions please! With kind regards, Marcel Gommans
