My LiteOn 411S works great with Drake 10 OE. But as mentioned, any burner should work OK with Linux. B)

/ 512 MB /home 4 GB /usr 10 GB /var 2 GB /tmp 1 GB /data 30 GB swap 500 MB ALL on LVM with reiserfs. Drake 10 with LVM-2 now allows booting from LVM. :P

Have a look at Endeavour II and Gentoo. B)

Font renedering on MDK 10 is quite poor. Was much better in 9.x. It takes a bit of tweaking, but they can be made to look nice. B)

I have to agree John. Drake 9.2 is a piece of crap. I'm a long-time Mandrake user ....... ( since about version 6) but this this version has really soured my taste for Mandrake. KDE is severely hacked & broken, Screensavers are missing, kernel source is missing, menus severely hacked & cut down, & too many other bugs to mention. This piece of junk should never have been released as 9.2 final, but as RC4. With ~300 MB worth of fixes, a week after release .......... what does that say about Mandrake's Q.A. ? I'm sorry, but I'm moving to SuSE.
