I, i have some questions about urpmi, i have set up urpmi with the site easy urpmi http://urpmi.org/easyurpmi/index.php but there is a big lack of rpm there, like no firefox(only firebird 0.6) rpm, no thunderbird , and a lot of packages outdatted, even after an update of all sources. is there other good sources other than main, contrib, updates and plf avaible for mdk? like textar was a couple a month ago. thanks for your help.

Finaly Got it working, plugged to cooker and my directory as a source. The trick just dont select kdebase as starter package for download. ahd woooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaa 3.2 is fast noe time for kernel 2.6 :)

IM gonna try this have tyou set the directory of your rpms in the mcc or jsut donwload from cooker?

@ralph1976: i have the one on their website ver 1.2 i kno its not a mdk rpm its a fedora core rpm... maby its the trouble i should try to install the real one.

Yeah ive installed the last mplayer plugin but it loads the movie i can hear sound but my screen is bleu :( any idea?

Yeah if only i was having some skills in c++ and QT . i only do some java, php , asp and python. but you know by spreading the word some developpers might be interested.

There is a new project that i've found yesterday. I'ts a Gui for makking flash animation on linux :). sounds Really great its a alpha version but you can do some basic things right now. http://f4l.sourceforge.net look at the screenshots seem impressive :) the project is also looking for developpers if you are interested :).

yeah your right Sony is linux friendly they even sell a linux on ps2 kit :) they also have programed all their ps2 features on linux and prot it after. so maby we can dream.

i hope that there will be a client. i think in the past ubisoft has release one or 2 linux games. maybe we can sign a petiton or send thousan of email to say that we need a linux client. But those day i think they can't release a big game like ths without conconsidering a linux client.

quick fix: first make a link : create a directory named bin on your home directory then type something like: ln -s /home/java/jre/bin/java /home/bin/java then: click right on your .jar file and open with ... write in the top drop down box : java -jar and click on the check box on the bottom of the screen where it says remember this file association (or something similar) hopes this help :)

Same problem here. the only way i've fount to log out is to hit ctrl - alt backspace, so the session will not freeze. hope someone have a quick fix. i can't live without my second screen while i'm coding ;)

how did you innstall gaim 0.72 or 0.71, urpmi with plf and textars sources giveme some depency problems, litcl, and i i install libtcl it gives me soem others errors :( so im oblige to use kopete.
