I'm dual booting with 2007 and winXP. The installation went smooth and fast. My PC: sda: SATAII 200GB WinXP sdb: SATAII 250GB only Data hdd: IDE 40GB Mandriva 2007 Still testing and configuring it though.

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once. (I changed mine to 100, works great.) It's useless to set it 50,10, or 1000, the maximum limit value is 8. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.ph...5967ebc3826c63f

My greek keyboard is still broken as well. I thought it was only me... Have u tried out thac's xorg?

That"s the fisrt thing i'd tried, i enabled keyboard layouts, add greece(gr) in the active layouts field and i when i click the US flag to switch to Greek i get an error (err).

I did all the changes as u suggested, still no joy. There is no "use unicode by default" option in MCC. In KDE CC-->Country-Region & Country i got only an option to add US English and British English. :o

Just installed Mandrva 2006 RC2 plus all the updates from Cooker. The only issue i have so far is the Greek language installation. I configure my keyboard to use US English and Greek but i cannot switch to Greek, any ideas pls?

This is because Sony-Ericcson has an established common firmware that is common with all sony-ericcson, nokia, and other mobile phones. How can i run konqueror file manager in super user mode in MD 10 OE? I think in MD 9.2 was something like "kde su konqueror" but it"s not working in MD 10 .

Got a problem... My downloaded rpms are in a folder "updates_030904". I try to build the hdlist.cz file with: [root@smoothwall /]# genhdlist /home/patsio/updates_030904/ ...and i got the following error: "Directory path to parse should be relative at /usr/bin/genhdlist line 63" What"s that? Any help pls? :(

Java (1.4.2_04) and flash plugin are preinstalled. Java is here: /usr/lib/jre-1.4.2_04/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32 To use it with Firefox just make a symlink to your firefox/plugins directory. And for flash copy ‎/usr/lib/netscape/plugins/flashplayer.xpt ‎/usr/lib/netscape/plugins/libflashplayer.so files to firefox/plugins :D

I have the 3 iso files of MD 10CE on my harddisk. Is it possible to compile a DVD with these 3 iso"s and use it to install Mandrake on my PC?

If you use the latest nightlies, the default settings folder renamed to ./firefox instead of ./phoenix.

No cure with the symlinks u suggested. Things are getting worse, today i rebooted my PC and i lost my network configuration plus the sound, the error msg i got for sound is: I"m getting crazy with this crap called MD 10CE, or it"s a pre-alpha version? :( i attach also my /etc/modules.conf : Any help is highly appreciated.... @aRTee ?? Now, i have sound in media palyers and no sound in KDE, eg no sound for system notifications... :(
