  1. ...I'll try going through the installation again then.
  2. bash: fglrxconfig: command not found
  3. Thank you! That worked! Well, the code did. Now that the driver is installled, and after I rebooted, I still have cloned screens.
  4. bash: ./ati-driver-installer-8.443.1-x86.x86_64.run: Permission denied That's what it said, and I went into root like you said.
  5. The file I'm trying to install: ATI Driver Installer 46.0MB 7.12 Dec 20, 2007 Automated installer and Display Drivers for X.Org 6.7, 6.8, 6.9, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 These are the instructions that the ATI website gives me: # Launch the Terminal Application/Window and navigate to the ATI Proprietary Linux driver download. # Enter the command ati-driver-installer-7-12-x86.x86_64.run to launch the ATI Proprietary Linux driver installer. The ATI Proprietary Linux Driver Setup dialog box is displayed. When I enter the second command, it says that it doesn't recognize the command.
  6. Never mind, I somehow killed the lag. Now I'm back to the whole "I see the same thing on both monitors and can't install the drivers" problem.
  7. I know, but my dad made me. He thought it would work, but it actually made everything worse. My computer is incredibly laggy now, which I didn't have before I swapped the video cards. Do you know how to fix that, besides getting the original card back?
  8. New video card, different issues. I switched my video card out for the ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 Series, replacing my PCI tuner that wouldn't work either. Now I can't get its drivers to install.
  9. Try going into the sound control and look at the mic settings. Mine was all the way down, and I spent the last day and a half trying to find the problem, I turned that up, and the problem was solved.

  11. Thank you! Now I'm just waiting for that to finish installing...
  12. This is starting to give me a headache....It says to put the Mandriva dvd into my drive, and after I do that and hit enter, it pops open the drive and says to put the dvd in.
  13. -bash: /etc/X11/xorg.conf: Permission denied That's what came up when I entered the code as a normal user, and as root. I tried installing the drivers, but it wouldn't install because of unsatisfied lebexpat.so.1, and when I tried to find a download for it, I was unsuccessful, so if you have a link to that, that would be great ^_^

    PCI tuner

I just got a new Pinnacle PCTV HD card, and I can't figure out how to install it. If you know anything about this, or even if you don't, please help.
