that worked great, but the sounds are not synced with the video

Aloha I am not getting any sound from video viewed in web browsers (I can't hear Homestar Runner). I have tried changing drivers with no luck.

Aloha, I am very busy right now. I just got back from a work trip on wednesday and I am leaving again tomorrow. Thanks for your help, but I don't have much time right now to fix this. I will get intouch with you when I get back a week from friday.

So I installed the ndiswrapper and I tried to use it, but when I tried to find the driver it didn't recognise it in the browse window, and I think it was looking for a different file type, than the .exe Am I missing something obvious?

I am having a problem with my wireless card. It is an ipw2200, and I read the other posts about the firmware and I installed it, but I still cannot access the internet. I have a dual boot windows and mandriva, and I also have problem connecting with windows. I wonder if the problem is my wireless card or the wireless system. The system is a netgear. Anybody have any ideas.

I just got a HP Pavillion dv4000 and I cannot get the LAN to connect (I also cannot get the wireless to work, but I want to get this fixed first.) I have tried config and deleting the connection and then making a new one and it doesn't seem to work.

When ever I try to configure my LAN the system freezes. I have a brand new HP Pavillion dv4000, and I can't get it to connect to the net. I also couldn't get the wireless configured correctly.

I am using gnutella to download files and when I start a new search I get stuff like: Band_compressed.exe Band_compressed.zip Band selfextracting.exe Band installer.exe and many variations on this theme. What are these? They make me very suspicious.

The Neuros looks better than an Ipod, and it is cheaper to.

Has any one ever used a Crweative Nomad zen mp3 player with Linux? I am thinking about getting a mp3 player and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?

when I do that it changes the date toa numer which is different thatn my original number and when I change it back, it reformats it as a date.

does anybody know how to get OO to stop formating numbers into dates on a spreadsheet? I have looked in the help section and I couldn't find anything. I finally had to put a letter in with it so it wouldn't be turned into a date. I love OO, but this one very frustraing error spois it for me.

Everything seems to be working gowator and scoopy The next thing is to get my background image to scale to the window size, any suggestions? And now to work on logins and passwords how do I do that?

scoopy What I am trying to do (and it may not be possible) is that I want the kilimanjaro.html to be the first thing you see when you go to my server. When I put it there and removed the .htaccess file I got a permission denied.

I have been messing with, but my html didn't work, I put it in the main file and remove the .htaccess, and when I tried to go to the page, it gave me an access forbidden. The pemissions were set as root for the folder and file. My html is attached. kilimanjaro.html

I think that sometimes my brain decides it is going to take a coffee brake and it doesn't tell me about until after I've done something stupid. It comes rushing back going " what the hell are you doing, I thought I told you not do anything while I was gone!" Which is unfair because when it is gone I don't remeber what it told me. I set the security level on higher, and it wouldn't let mplayer access anything. Problem solved :unsure:

When you go to playlist it used to give me a tree, no it doesn't here is a screenshot

scoopy Some how I messed something up. When I try load a file into mplayer all it gives me is the :/ file and it won't let me open it. I think maybe in screwing around with the permissions I changed something, but I have no clue what.

to access my server I have to type in my ip address

I have mozilla, epiphany, and firefox. I have opened up 4 different web editors, I just don't know what to do with them when they are open. In gowators last post he talkd about editing out my ip number, do you know how to do that?
