I have Lucent modem ( SV92) and i read this howto in this site https://mandrivausers.org/index.php?showtopic=13773 But i can install source driver becuse when i type make in driver folder show the error of i ( i cant compile files ) my linux is mandriva 2007 free edition and i have install kernel source ( kernel is 2.6.17-5mdv )

Thanks for all i can install kernel-source but with rpm source ( download from rpmfind site ) Thanks I downloaded mine from the Internet (ftp://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/linux/distributions/Mandrakelinux/official/iso/2007.0/CD/mandriva-free-2007-CD1.i586.iso), all 4 CD's and they don't have the source on them. I have checked all four CD's. You have my problem , too . you can download this file and install with this command rpmbuild -- rebuild file name then go to this address usr/src/rpm/RPMS/i586/ and install all rpm files in this folder then you have install kernel-source complet ftp://mirror.switch.ch:21/mirror/mandrake...v2007.0.src.rpm

Thanks For this But i cant buy DVD fo mandrivas becous ilive in iran and its very expensive for me about 200 d$ in my country is 200000 T why i cant use mandriva >> suse too whats mandriva have money why not free

Typed in teminal and i cant find any things in there my CDS is true becouse i installed full and dont worry my kenel is 2.6.17-5mdv for install the hradware and software i can use the kernel source becouse this isnt installed for me in other site i watched the reply he sayed you must instal kernel-development in MCC not this name
