Well, this is kind of a bump, but...... Legends .0.4.0B has been released. It is a major upgrade to Legends. New weapon models, new player models, 3 new gameplay types, and some more. Give it a look over, you wont be dissappointed.

I hate to say something negative, but you need to change the Video card on the game machine. ATI drivers are hit an miss, and when I ran ET in MDK 9.2(I have an ATI 9000 Pro 128) it caused the whole system to crash....

Try esd, but esd sometimes has a small sound lag. But test it. Also, you might want to make sure that no other programs are using your soundcard...

Yea, I noticed those the other day. The main reason why I used Knoppix was because I had it already burned to testing purposes. I am planning on trying out the Debian Net-Install CD's.

Anyone have any idea on how to export (aka save) your Evolution settings. There is an import settings option, but no export settings option. Maybe I am just blind? who knows.

I think I have found the easiest way to install Debain. You may find it cheap, but it only requires one CD and a good internet connection. Everyone knows that Knoppix is basically Debain, and that it is possible to install it on the hard drive. So here is the easiest way I have found it install Debian. 1) Download and burn the latest version of Knoppix 2) Install Knoppix to the HDD 3) Find the offical latest Debain sources.list and replace the orginal Knoppix one 4) Run "apt-get clean" "apt-get update" and finally "apt-get gnome" (if your a gnome fan) ...and bang you have a fully functional Debain installation on your HDD

Ok, back in 2000 I got a brand new computer with a printer and scanner from Gateway. Anyway, I dont really use my scanner much (this is the first time it's been ooked up in over a year), but I cant find linux driver for it. It is a Visonieer Onetouch 8100 scanner. Little help?

I love Gnome. i use it on both my laptop and my desktop. But for my old P133/166 I use IceWM.

Ok, sounds like your registry is not up to snuff, so go here and get the latest version Wine Tools and have it make you a new registry.

What do you think of your Nomad Zen. i've been thinking about getting the Nomad Zen NX or Xtra in the 40GB model to store my CDs that I had ripped off my computers HDDs (right now it takes up over 15GB, partitaly because I rip at 256Kbps).

Interesting, but how does she handle? Fast, slow, bloated?
