Running Evolution 2 (something) on MDK 10.1 OE. I made a signature for my oldest daughter, how can I make it stick onto every mail she makes from now on? Edit: solutions given worked great. Thank you.

I have an Acer Aspire 1703, with a glidepoint style mouse, it worked under 9.2, but doesn't work under 10.0 OE. I asked Mandrake about this problem and after me supplying them with some info back and forth it gave me this sad response: *********** alans : 25/05 07:04 : Reply received though the vast majority of us have benefitted from the 2.6 kernel's mouse support, you seem to have not. the setup in your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file should support both the glidepoint and the mouse you have plugged in simultaniously. but your particular laptop must have some oddity about the way that the glidepoint is implemented that does not allow the kernel to even see it. you can probably install the (included) 2.4 kernel and boot with it and get your glidepoint to work. do you need instructions on how to do this? -- Alan -- Mandrakesoft Support Team :) ************ Not the biggest problem for me, more of a slight annoyance really.

Yes, this works. I used your first suggestion. Is there any way to make the files be saved locally on the windows machines? I tried, but failed. I put them on a share on the file and print server, but it would be easier for the end user if it shows up on their machine. the files are named "nobody .xxxxxx.pdf" that might offend some, like the Master/Slave seems to have offended people in Los Angeles :-)

Is it possible to set up a printer server where the printing is converted into a .pdf file? It works locally on the server, but not from Windows clients? I tried once, and then I read today about Adobes Acrobat Elements Server, and it I remembered that this was something I'd like, but then I saw the price :unsure:

I've seen a lot of refrence to mdkextras, which is suppose to be found at http://mdkextras.by-a.com/, but it seems to be non-functioning. Are there any other places I can add as a source to install from?
