I have an Acer Aspire 1703, with a glidepoint style mouse, it worked under 9.2, but doesn't work under 10.0 OE. I asked Mandrake about this problem and after me supplying them with some info back and forth it gave me this sad response:

though the vast majority of us have benefitted from the 2.6 kernel's mouse
support, you seem to have not. the setup in your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file
should support both the glidepoint and the mouse you have plugged in
simultaniously. but your particular laptop must have some oddity about the
way that the glidepoint is implemented that does not allow the kernel to even
see it. you can probably install the (included) 2.4 kernel and boot with it
and get your glidepoint to work. do you need instructions on how to do this?

Not the biggest problem for me, more of a slight annoyance really.
