Do you have a pocketpc connected to your pc? Disconnecting the ppc will make the stutters go away

    No ATI 3d?

I am on Mandriva 2005. I have installed the latest kernel source and downloaded the latest ATI drivers for my 9600 XT. The install went fine, I got no 3d however. Nowadays it is really easy to get ATI 3d accel running on linux (even out of the box). Anyone has tips on how to enable 3d acc on Mandriva? Thanks in advance!
  14. Thanks for the help! It was indeed the 2006 version that caused teh problems. 2005 work updates just fine :D
