  1. Hi, I have a Logitech quickcam messenger QV61 ( Vendor 046d, product 08a6). I installed the qc-usb driver and compiled it. quickcam module is really loaded, and videodev too. I have no errors message. Unfortunately, I have no /dev/video file. When I configure netmeeting, I can configure the sound. I see the graph bar of the sound moves. So the microphone works. But netmeeting can't see the video hardware: "pas de peripherique video trouvé". Any idea or (better) any solution Thank you Joaopa
  2. Hi all, when my laptop is not connected to Internet, it takes a long time to search my interface PPP0 (which is not connected) at boot. It tries 25 times to find this interface. Can we reduce this number (3 for example would be nice)? Thank you. Joaopa [moved from hardware - arctic]

    SWG + Linux?

Wait the next release of free wine. With the future support of windows installers and the support of more directx 9 functions, there are lot of chances that this game works under wine. Joaopa
  4. Maybe with cedega it would work?

  6. I managed to play AVP2 on Linux without no problem Here is what you should do to make it worked 1) Install it with cedega (no problem for me): cedega /mnt/cdrom/setup 2) cd where the game is installed 3) cedega avp2 4) choose the options what you want use to play 5) exit (do not start the real game) To play really, now do 6) nice -n 19 cedega lithtech -cmdfile avp2cmdfile.txt +DisableLoadScreen 0 It would be interesting to manage to put this option in avp2cmdfile.txt, but I did not manage to do that. 7) GOOD GAME I had no issue with this game Joaopa
