Has anyone tried installing the IBM HTTPD on a 9.2 system yet? I am bout to do so and was looking for any advice of rational reason why I shouldnt...

The reason for the idea being pretty simple... A damn GUI thats relatively well designed... and since its an actual apache 2.0 core ... why not?

Well.....

I installed IBM HTTPD with all the bells and whistles only to find out there was an incompatibilty with the java run time environment supplied with 9.2 ISO. So I installed the JRE from sun and reset the paths to point to the new version first and presto ... Apache 2.0 + SSL + Goodies with a pretty nice GUI. Its a bit slow (GUI) but works just fine So if anyone else wants to try I can make no guarantee other then install the JRE from Sun, and IBM HTTPD (Apache Core) and you should be GUI'fied also.
