Full Version: eth0 failure at boot

I've had the weirdest problem since installing 9.2. During boot I get the message
"Bringing up network eth0 [failed]" but when I log in to KDE or Gnome I can browse the net
and my local network. I use a nat router and dhcp. It seems like the system isn't waiting long
enough to receive an IP address from the router? The message is immediate. There is no
wait while it looks for the dhcp server it just immedaitely fails.

I guess since I still have network access this is more of an annoyance than anything.
Any ideas? Is there some config file I can edit to get it to wait longer?

I have the same problem, and I havn't been able to fix it yet.

If I try
acpi=on
in my grub config eth0 fails (completely....even after boot). If

acpi=ht
it works. Just a thought.
