I have been looking around for docs but can't find any so I apologise in advance.

I have just installed 9.1 dual boot just nicely. All has gone well except I have stuffed up the internet connection setup. Last time I installed it many months ago I got it first time.

Is there any documentation on how to do it? I also can't find the settings to change it in any of the menus. I would prefer GUI than command line at this stage. I have an ADSL Router so it's used like a LAN connection.

does your router give out dhcp? or are you trying to static it?
what kind of router, brand?

go to your kicker, configuration, mandrake control center, network internet, and then the top left one.

do the wizard and let it choose for you. if you don't want your box to be named localhost, click on the expert also. that is have both of the boxes clicked. if your on dhcp, just let it go. you shouldn't even have to put in your gateway address.

cheers.
