hey i found and installed the rpm for dx2 the program that will run descent2 under linux and all i copyed all the commercial files and all off the cd's that i was given and stuff but i dont know where the executable is and how to run the game if you know please tell me.

did you check /usr/local/bin? /usr/local/bin/games?

if you open up kpackage, find the rpm in the list, and check the "File List" it should be listed somewhere there as to where the executable is.
