twisted.gif I've seen that for myself here at my Fry's. I go there all the time and 8 out of 10 times they say its broken  . They say it's (linux) easily hacked and people get into it and mess things up and break it twisted.gif twisted.gif ....idiots, and yes that is what I've called them tongue.gif they login in as root  and do not set up a user account....DUH, then widozers get in there and...well, you can imagine. I had one sales rep tell me it was linux users destroying it and that they were having to install it everyday laugh.gif ....yea, that makes sense  . I had one sales rep approach me and tell me that after they realize that the potential customer is walking away and not willing to spend the big bucks, to go to plan B....and show them the $200 and $400 ThizLinuz machines and tell them they can put windows on it. twisted.gif YEP, it true....been there-done that, seen it and heard it with my own eyes and ears.

One day it was frozen in never, neverland and a sales rep was spitting this crap out, so I interrupted and ask, "may I", and the sales rep stepped aside and said it had not worked all day, it was locked,....he_he_he...[this was soOOOooo fun] Ctrl>Alt>Backspace>then Ctrl>Alt>F1>[sales entered root password]vi /etc/X11/XF86Config-4>"Oh_look,...someone removed your video driver....probably a windozer that couldn't cut it in linux" I said>Ctrl>Alt>F2>[sales entered roots password]lspci -vv showed SiS video>Ctrl>Alt>F1>added Driver "sis" [what a guess] and saved>then startx to an *old and ungly* kde deskktop  laugh.gif laugh.gif

So yes I explained it all to the sales rep and customer and bla bla bla

Man that's awesome, there you go folks, first hand experience. I don't think there is a FRY's here in Missouri, I've been to every computer nuk & cranny around here and I don't believe I ever heard of them.
