Is there not a select all function when installing packages? I selected them all without going into the individual packages and it said about 1700/5000 megs. I had to install several packages latter on when I configured my network and was wondering if I could just install it all from the begining.

Frankly, it is really unclear to me what the packages mean when they are selected. For example, when the development package is selected, one still must individually select the kernel sources for installation, or they do not install. I bring this up because compiling is worthless without the kernel sources. So, I think you always need to check for packages to install that you know you need. "Everything" never gets installed. cry.gif

If you want everything chose Individual Pk Selection and check the top/title/setion/whatever for each. Doesn't that select ALL?

I'm going to try that with the beta2. I broke it and need to reinstall anyway!! twisted.gif
