Hi,

I've got very similar problem when try to install MDV 2008.1 on my RAID-0 system. Last time it appeared with MDV 2008.0, but I have discovered "partition labels" error -> when set up, my installed system didn't stand up; when unset, system booted fine.

But now, with MDV 2008.1 this "trick" doesn't work.

I just wanted to renew my system on one of my partitions on RAID-0 strip. It doesn't matter if I mount or not other partitions during installation (3 x NTFS, 1 x Ext-3). After installation GRUB menu appears and then, when progress bar shows up - MDV falls in neverending loop. I've tried to check any log file, but there's no one (too early stage ?).
First error message I've noticed is:

"device mapper: table: 252:0 striped: Couldn't parse stripe destination"

I've tried to change GRUB to "old-style" (no UUID and so on), but it doesn't work.

So what can I do (or change) to get MDV 2008.1 installed ?
The rest of my systems works fine (WinXP, WinXP x64, MDV 2008.0 x64)
