There's a cool mod for UT called Bullet Time 3.0... If you like the effect of having everything slow down and being able to dodge bullets, you may like to give this mod a try at your next LAN party.

To install it, you need to have the umod utility installed (in Debian - apt-get install umodpack) unless you get the non-umod version.

I tried it tonight, and it's come a long way since the first version that I tried back in Oct. 2001 or so.

Yeah, I was reading reviews of the Xbox version... Apparently Max Payne (which first featured bullet time and such) is a better, yet older, game to get.
