Oliver Meyer's tutorial for setting up the Perfect Desktop using Gnome is available at HowtoForge.

Thanks. There are a few interesting things there. For example, I didn't know there was Skype packaged for Mandriva.

And a stupid question: How do they make the screenshots of the windows in the installation process? If the OS is not loaded yet, how do they run the program that captures the screen?

They might be using this method or they may be doing the install inside of a virtual machine and taking the screenshots with the host OS.

Hi folks;
Not wanting to be a nit-picker but the Gnome Perfect Desktop tutorial at HowToForge is by Oliver Meyer.

Falko's tutorial is with KDE and Spring One.

Both are excellent.
