The driver contains bug fixes and support for newer gfx hardware and notebooks.

Note, it's a beta driver. Though it works nice here.

This new version, and updated detection list for the new cards it supports, is in Cooker already. It probably won't be backported to 2008 and 2008 Spring, though; we usually only backport stable releases of NVIDIA.
