Full Version: How do I connect to the Internet?
I know that the question is common but I am completely noob.I just installed Mandriva Linux One 2008 on my Acer Laptop( Aspiere 3682Wxci)I have ethernet Lan card Marvell Yukon(ok I downloaded the drivers for linux).Now I have Dsl (country Greece)with the Philips router CGA5720N/TE.How I can connect to the internet?Settings?

can you open a terminal window & then type
Normally if all is well what should happen is that your router hands out an ip address & you should be good to go just like windows I guess. I take it this isn't happening?
