So I went and got the latest version of QNETWALK. It says it optionally uses sound if the Network Audio System is installed. So I loaded the pakage for NAS, Network Audio System and QT3 devel libraries. I did QMAKE, MAKE and MAKE INSTALL in qnetwalk. The game works just fine, but no sound. Any ideas how to get the sound to work in Mandriva?

First of all, there's a Knetwalk package in the Mandriva repos with working sound. I believe it's in the kdegames package.

To check your sound problem, start the app from the terminal, and please post any errors here for us to see.
