I see you are liking Mint. You still have it installed and running it.

Well, my Arch install is a bit broken at the moment and I haven't taken the time to fix it. I actually spend most of my time on my MBP now, using my desktop mostly for gaming (which means WinXP, unfortunately).

Love the theme there, clean, functional, and very groovy. I haven't posted here before, so I'm probably adding too many shots. Basically this desktop's panel and dockbar are hidden most of the time. Panel autohides, and dockbar (wbar) is run when I need it. Cheers!

Love A.I.'s desktop; it's very stylish!
What's that launcher/docker up left? Is that gimmie? It looks very nice!
And the Mac-type launchbar on the right is also very slick. I was once looking for something like that, but really couldn't find one that would work properly and I would have liked. What is that?

The mac-type launcher is kiba-dock, though it recommended to use the one in SVN.

I thought I'd post my winXP desktop at work here. As I am forced to use WinXP at work I thougt it'd be nice to have the desktop from my Mandriva here to make me feel more "at home" at work.

Yin Yeti, you need to urgently get some potent insect spray.
In your screen shot I saw an awful diseased ridden bug on your screen. A bluish swirly round thingee up near the top right side.
It is known to destroy complete systems and to effect other OSs as well.
Cheers. John.

I do need that insect spray, don't I?

Well, I need to see Visio files, and there's absolutely ZERO existing Linux viewer. So I wanted to try the Windows viewer which is an ActiveX for IE. Thus I first installed ies4linux, and then the viewer (installs well with Wine configured as W2K). Unfortunately, the viewer tells me my vsd files were created by a too-new version of Visio :(
