I have installed MDV 2008.0. I want to add a file association so I use the Control center and do it (I want to open *.big files with the Big Crocodile using Wine).
I want to add the association to the "Applications" group but it isn't possible and the description jumps among the "All" group automatically. But now every time the KDesktop or any application is launched I see an error message: "Cannot find MIME type aplication/octet-stream". After I click on it, everything works fine.
Why? How to repair it? Is there any file in MDV where a false input is written about an association among "applications" while the association is anywhere else?
