Full Version: Suspend issue

I need to whitelist some modules to get the suspend working on my laptop, as well as change a few other parameters. On Debian systems I can tinker with /etc/apt/acpi-support to get everything working properly.

Can't seem to find such a file on Mandriva. Have found kpowersave but it doesn't offer the options I need,

What file should I be editing?

Ta.

Have a look at what acpi packages you have installed:

CODE
rpm -qa | grep -i acpi

and then, what you can do, if the package is acpid for example:

CODE
rpm -ql packagename

replace packagename with acpid and whatever the file is called, and it will list what files are part of this package, then you can probably hunt down the config under /etc.

Thanks Ian, I'll have a look at sorting this tonight.
